Unholy Captives is chapter V in the tragedy of the Obra Dinn's last voyage. Returning deserters brought with them three mermaids. While bringing these beasts to captivity, several crewmen die to mishaps. The captain's steward protests the curse these creatures may bring with them by killing a seaman. This chapter contains no disappearances.
